The TYCOR® production process is reliable, efficient, clean, and fairly straightforward; it starts with
two readily available materials:
- Architectural insulation foam (a closed-cell polyisocyanurate, 2 pcf density foam with a 0.25 oz/ft2 random
E-glass All-Glass-Facer "AGF")
- E-glass roving
The foam is precisely cut into strips with a saw that holds very close tolerance. These strips are then run through
specialized high speed winding equipment to apply E-glass roving to it. The E-glass is applied in a double-helix
+/- 45 degree fiber architecture. The individual strips are then consolidated into core-preform sheets using an
industry standard hot-melt scrim material. The product is now packaged and ready for shipment.
This process allows for large volume production and quick responsiveness from WebCore. The product
can be delivered in a range of standard thicknesses and configurations.

WebCore is headquartered in Miamisburg, Ohio, just outside Dayton. Its sales development and manufacturing are located
in a 70,000 square foot modern facility.
